How God realizes change in our lives; what “mind” truly means; and, how we “put off” the trash in our brains and “put on” the Mind of Christ.
A month ago we started investigating the Mind of Christ itself. We found from Isaiah 11:1-2 that the Mind of Christ is a heavenly seven-overlay process that starts with the Spirit of the Lord, who wants to confer to us not just the majority of God’s Supernatural contemplations (His Wisdom); yet in addition comprehension of those considerations; counsel regarding which musings are suitable for our own circumstance; powerful solidarity to actualize those considerations in our lives; individual experiential learning of seeing those considerations showed in our life activities; and in conclusion, the capacity to stroll in the dread of the Lord (and not in the dread of man) by escaping whatever would extinguish His Spirit in us.
Our musings have the ability to deaden or rouse us, to push us into the profundities of gloom or drive us to the statures of festivity. They can focus us in truth or lead us, gradually yet consistently down the damaging way of trickiness. The sacred text reveals to us human astuteness is flawed, best case scenario, driving humankind to call great shrewd and abhorrent great.
This implies we can keep up indistinguishable concentration and qualities from Christ has. I trust it likewise implies seeing the world through a Christ-focused focal point. But then this blessing, which is given to each adherent uninhibitedly, must be created so as to be of full esteem. We do this by taking our contemplations hostage; perusing, remembering, and reflecting on Scripture; investing reliable energy within the sight of Christ; and inclining vigorously on a believed responsibility accomplice.
